We are now looking for a Project Manager to work in our Transformation Management Office focusing on data and digitalization.

As the Project Manager you will have a critical role in making sure that our data governance, integration, master data, dashboard creation etc. projects are run methodically, and all the stakeholders know where we are on the development roadmap. To do this effectively you need to have a good understanding of what different kind of data projects entail, and also have a strong will and mindset to get things done and dusted. To define the contents, you will naturally have the support of our experienced architects and engineers, but the expectation is that you will be able to organize the work in a way that makes delivery smooth and transparent. You will also be collaborating with our delivery partners as they are also playing an important role in developing and maintaining the solutions that we offer. To succeed in this work in an environment like Huhtamaki means having excellent communication and project management skills, a background of data projects and a strong “driver” –mindset.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Project Management: Proven experience in project management, including planning, organizing, and executing data-related projects. The ability to define project scope, timelines, and resource allocation, and effectively manage project risks and issues. Having relevant project management certificates like PMP, PgMP, IPMA etc. is very beneficial.

• Data Management Knowledge: A solid understanding of data management principles, data architecture, data engineering, and data integration concepts. Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and data security best practices. MS Azure BI Ecosystem knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory.

• Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication skills to interact with technical teams, stakeholders, and business users. The ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and foster a collaborative working environment.

• Data Analysis: Basic data analysis skills to review project metrics and data-related KPIs. The ability to use data insights for decision-making and project performance evaluation.

• Vendor Management: Experience in working with external vendors or service providers for specific project requirements. The ability to coordinate with vendors and ensure deliverables meet project expectations.

• Documentation and Reporting: Strong documentation skills to maintain project plans, progress reports, and project documentation. The ability to create concise and clear project status updates fo
