This professional will lead the safety of the team during the over nightshift and provide support with troubleshooting equipment, safely and time management.

About the Role:

  • Guide technicians and operators to complete projects and production-related activities.

  • Demonstrated knowledge in ceramic processing, such as blending, forming, compaction, and densification.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of molten metal handling, cell operation, and casting activities.

  • Responsible for solving problems to root cause, identifying opportunities for improvements, and implementing innovative solutions to improve process and equipment performance.

  • Diligently communicates progress and results through written emails, reports, and presentations if applied.

  • Ability to physically perform work in laboratory and industrial environments.

  • Ability to work over nightshift.

  • Flexibility to work on day shifts for training and potential possibility for rotation in the future.

What you can bring to this role:

  • 10+ years of experience in R&D and/or industrial environmental preferred.

  • Experience in ceramic, compound fabrication, smelting and/or casting.

  • Solid understanding of safety in the work environment.

  • Mechanical aptitude, ability to work hands-on, troubleshoot equipment issues, and identify resource needs to solve problems methodically and disciplined.

  • Demonstrated ability to work and lead effectively in a team environment.

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to work with resources within and outside the program team to accomplish the work required.

  • Strong organization and analytical skills for data management, analysis, and results presentation.

  • Lead by example, awareness of environmental, health, and safety principles in a laboratory and manufacturing environment.
