The Principal Designated Government Representative (DGR) deals with all classified international shipments (import and export) which must occur through government-to government channels per 32 CFR Part 117. This position requires that you have the ability to coordinate all elements of Transportation/Transmission Plan activities for each shipment with responsible functional areas. You will have ongoing communication with DCSA International and the local Industrial Security Representative as well as RTX Security, Program Office, EXIM/Empowered Individuals, Enterprise Services Customs Operations, Packout and Traffic, Foreign Partner and Embassies for tech data transfers and Freight Forwarders for foreign and domestic. 

What You Will Do 

  • Review and ensure industrial security compliance for international classified exports/imports
  • Verify Foreign Visit Requests for initial requests and ongoing maintenance
  • Verify Foreign Visit Requests for all classified visits are on file within Visitor Management System (VMS) as well as ensuring outgoing Requests for Foreign Visits are submitted.
  • Verify all Export Authorizations and accurate documentation of all activities
  • Proactively approach and anticipate and mitigate constraints/delays.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a university degree in Business Management, Security and/or Risk Management, Government Policy, Information Management, Criminal Justice, or other related field of study and 5 years prior relevant experience
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • Experience with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM), security procedures and responsibilities, physical security knowledge as well as how classified material must be handled.

  • Ability to plan and schedule activities to accomplish objectives
  • Willing to work extended hours when required  
  • Security related certification/training courses 
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain all access as required by the programs. 
  • Understanding of government guidance to include the NISPOM and DoD
