POSITION:
PART-TIME LECTURERS IN ECONOMICS: The Department of Economics invites applications for a pool of part-time teaching appointments to teach Principles of Microeconomics, Principles of Macroeconomics, or other economics courses as needed. Position is contingent upon the availability of authorized funding.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A Master’s degree in Economics or a closely related field. Prior teaching experience at the college level.

COMPENSATION:
Commensurate with qualifications and experience. As a member of the 23-campus CSU System, we offer an extremely competitive benefits package.
Newly hired lecturers with terminal degrees are placed in Range 3 of the salary schedule and others are normally placed in Range 2. Starting salaries are usually at or near the minimum of the range. The full-time (15 units per semester) monthly base salaries indicated in the schedules are prorated based on the number of units assigned and are paid in six monthly payments for each full semester. California State University Stanislaus serves the San Joaquin Valley and is a critical educational resource for a six county region of approximately 1.5 million people. Widely recognized for its quality academic programs, the University has 10 nationally accredited programs and approximately 400 full-time faculty. Over eighty percent of full time faculty holds doctorates or terminal degrees in their fields.
