Head Start Instructional Assistant - Warsaw, IN

Pay Rate-$17.40 hr

Join our dedicated team as a Head Start Instructional Assistant, where you'll play a crucial role in creating a safe and nurturing learning environment for our students. In this position, you will assist Head Start teachers and specialists in meeting the individual needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in planning and executing engaging learning activities.
• Implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Behavior Plans.
• Support students with health needs, including feeding and toileting.
• Observe students and report any physical, emotional, or cognitive concerns.
• Prepare and submit required paperwork while ensuring confidentiality.

Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or completion within 2 years.
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Auto insurance.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
