About the Role: The Product analyst is crucial in driving data-driven decision making within an organization's product development and management teams. They will work closely with senior executives, product managers, design, data scientists, engineers collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to the performance and usage of products, aiming to provide insightful recommendations and drive improvements in product strategies, customer experiences, and roadmap outcomes. The ideal candidate will excel in data analysis automating customer data analysis and generate actionable insights for businesses. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data on product(s)/platform performance and user behavior.  
  • Synthesize data and identify trends, patterns, and insights to support product and business decisions.  
  • In partnership with Product Management, present findings and recommendations to stakeholders and senior management in a clear and concise manner 
  • Create, maintain and optimize reports, metrics and usage dashboards. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency 
  • Collaborate with senior executives, product managers, design teams, and data scientists to gather requirements and understand business objectives 
  • Use data analysis techniques to provide recommendations for improving product strategies, customer experiences, and roadmap outcomes 
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product analytics 
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of product strategies and initiatives through data analysis. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, Engineering, Data Science, Economics or related discipline. 
  • Minimum 2+ years of industry experience in analytics, business intelligence, data science or another related field. 
  • Knowledge of product management principles, product development lifecycle, and agile methodologies 
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in data analysis using tools such as Excel, SQL, or statistical software (e.g., R, Python) 
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Domo) to present complex information in a visually appealing and understandable manner 
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, Google Analytics) and experience in tracking and analyzing website/app performance metrics 
  • Experience using techniques to analyze large datasets and derive insights is needed. (e.g.Cohort analysis, A/B testing, Retention analysis, Heat mapping, Funnel analysis, Session replay, etc.) 
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capability to derive actionable insights from data 
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of market dynamics, customer behavior, and competitive landscape
