Program Summary:
Lennar’s Technology Internship Program is a 10-week paid internship beginning in June, in which associates apply theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom to real-world projects and challenges. The program will facilitate participants’ development of essential interpersonal and technical skills, and position associates for future career success and leadership opportunities. Associates will work alongside seasoned professionals, fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture while contributing to impactful projects, and become immersed in Lennar’s culture through onboarding (including a visit to a Lennar Community), hands-on training, and teambuilding. Upon program completion, high-performing interns may have an opportunity to return to Lennar as part of the Technology Recent College Grad (RCG) program.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the implementation and maintenance of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection solutions.
Support cloud security initiatives by assisting in the configuration and monitoring of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Participate in security monitoring and incident response activities, including log analysis and threat detection.
Perform basic vulnerability assessments and assist in remediation efforts.
Collaborate with IT teams to ensure secure configuration of systems and applications.
Document security processes and procedures, contributing to the organization’s knowledge base.
Requirements:
Current Junior graduating from a 4-year college or University within 2 years (preferred)
Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar field (preferred)
Must be authorized to work in the United States without needing employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Basic understanding of network security principles, cloud security, and common cybersecurity threats.
Familiarity with security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively.
Ability to work with various technologies and develop skills for new tools, platforms, and digital workflows
