About the role
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate with the Director of Project Management to identify, build, and implement strategic initiatives across the company that enable us to be more efficient in fulfilling the mission and expanding to whom we provide our services.
- Partner with Project Sponsors and Functional Managers to compile discovery artifacts such as a Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA), Project Charter, high-level Resource Plan, and high-level Milestone Plan to be reviewed to receive Discovery Funding.
- Help develop workflows, processes, and timelines for completing identified initiatives—excel in project management.
- Determine project scope and manage scope execution.
- Build partnerships and create/facilitate processes to implement initiatives across regions and workgroups.
- Work with key internal personnel to build strategies for achieving the overall goals for growth operations and other departments.
- Based on complexity assessment and with guidance on each project, refine the resource plan, develop a RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, and Informed) Matrix, conduct a Key-Person Risk Assessment, and Third-Party Support Needs Assessment.
- Support and evaluate the results of initiatives and report on them to the regional and corporate leadership teams.
- Build relationships with corporate and regional leaders, vendors, and strategic partners.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent project management capabilities to include the PMP project life cycle and stakeholder management.
- Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
- Highly computer literate with capability in email, MS Office, CRM systems, PowerPoint, and related business and communication tools.
- Ability to write business cases and basic financial modeling.
- Proven ability to create and implement processes across multiple divisions.
- Ability to accept and implement appropriate feedback.
- Strategic and creative mindset.
- Meticulous attention to detail
Education/Training:
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree in communications, project management, business, computer science, or a related field (essential)
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in strategy development (essential).
- 2-3 years' experience in project management.
