Position Summary:
The Sales Operations Manager is responsible for strengthening our sales infrastructure, ensuring data accuracy, and providing the insights needed to drive predictable revenue growth. Reporting to the Director of Data & Analytics and partnering with the VP of National Sales and other key leaders, this role is central to professionalizing our sales organization: implementing rigor around pipeline management, leveraging HubSpot CRM to its fullest, and supporting reporting needs for executive leadership and investors. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth, PE-backed environment and can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
PLEASE NOTE: This role is based in our Chicago, IL office and follows a hybrid work model, combining in-office collaboration with the flexibility to work remotely part of the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- HubSpot CRM Ownership
- Serve as the administrator and power user of HubSpot CRM, optimizing pipelines, workflows, automation, and integrations.
- Ensure enterprise-wide data integrity across acquired businesses, consolidating CRM usage as new firms are integrated.
- Drive adoption across the sales team and standardize best practices in HubSpot.
- Sales Process & Scalability
- Design and enforce scalable sales processes to support both organic growth and acquisitions.
- Partner with VP National Sales to establish KPIs, track funnel conversion, and enforce accountability in pipeline reviews.
- Support territory alignment, account segmentation, and sales compensation tracking.
- Analytics, Forecasting & Reporting
- Own sales reporting and dashboards in HubSpot, providing leadership with accurate and timely visibility into pipeline health and forecast.
- Deliver detailed revenue analysis to support quarterly board meetings, investor reporting, and lender updates.
- Partner with Finance to align forecasting and budgeting processes with sales activity.
- Cross-Functional Integration
- Work with Marketing to improve lead management, campaign attribution, and ROI tracking.
- Collaborate with Operations and Client Success to provide visibility into onboarding and retention metrics, ensuring alignment between new business growth and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with Compliance and Legal to ensure all sales processes align with financial services regulations.
- Change Management & Enablement
- Lead CRM training, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives for sales reps across newly acquired businesses.
- Drive process standardization and change management as we scale, ensuring consistent execution across the enterprise.
- Provide executive leadership with insights that shape go-to-market strategy, M&A integration, and resource allocation.
