The Role:
We are looking for a QC Lab Analyst to join our Quality team in Keokuk, IA. Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor at the Keokuk manufacturing plant and will provide laboratory work coverage on a rotating swing-shift schedule to support the 24/7 RAI Mini-Plant operations..
The QC Lab Analyst works collaboratively with internal and external constituents, including Quality Assurance, Mini-Plants, Customer Care, Shipping and external vendors.

What You’ll Do:
- Performs quality control tests utilizing standard lab equipment (e.g. spectrophotometer, HPLC,
pH meter) to evaluate and report on the quality of products manufactured with defined specifications.
- Reads, understands and follows laboratory standard operating procedures, using ability to perform qualitative and quantitative assays.
- Manages, coordinates and executes tasks
- Analytical instrumentation calibration
- Wet-chemistry and instrumental analysis of in-process and final products
- Execution of validation studies
- Tactical management of retained samples based on established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
What You’ll Need:
- BS Degree – Chemistry/Biology/ or related field preferred; or relevant experience
- Strong oral and written communication
- Technical background preferred
- Multitasker
- Demonstrated computer skills
- Strong problem solving, innovative and analytical skills
