Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Job Description:

This Masters-level position will assist the OALA Disability Shuttle within the OALA office and it's daily operations. This may include the following: Reviewing rider applicant schedules, coordinating rides, driving the shuttle (training will be provided), assisting in training shuttle drivers, supervising Team Leads and other shuttle drivers, assisting in oversight of the open and closing schedules and fill in where needed, assisting in coverage for daily office operations during full-time staff meetings/absences, assist in maintaining fleet of golf carts. Will also assist with other office duties during final exams.

Must be willing to drive a golf cart in most weather conditions, unless otherwise deemed unsafe (i.e. we operate in rain or shine - except in lightning, tornado, etc). Must be capable of lifting and moving crutches, knee scooters, and wheelchairs as well as operating a manual wheelchair ramp on ADA carts that may meet or exceed up to 25lbs.

Must have been licensed to drive for at least 2 years. Basic computer skills are required. Strong understanding of campus layout is required. Must be able to comply with university policies. Must maintain regular and punctual attendance. Previous golf cart driving experience preferred, but not required.
