Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the engine that powers Microsoft's cloud services and our team is focused on delivering high quality infrastructure to support cloud operations.
As Microsoft’s Cloud business continues to mature, the acquisition and development of our owned, designed and constructed Data Center facilities will scale to meet the demands of our customers. Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) will be developing and executing strategies to deliver owned and developed sites alongside our leasing team, to scale our business into the future.
The Infrastructure Planning & Acquisition (IPA) team is responsible for the acquisition and planning of Data Center Infrastructure needed to build out Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure. As part of IPA, the Land Acquisition Team is responsible for the delivery and pre-positioning of Data Center real estate needed to build out Microsoft’s cloud infrastructure.
As a Global Land Acquisition Project Manager, you will be based in the United States, reporting to the Global Land Acquisition Operations Manager and will be responsible for supporting day-to-day operations and execution, reviewing, and delivering rhythm of the business (ROB) activities, and recommending process improvements. By collaborating closely with Land Acquisition Managers and other Land Project Managers, you’ll evaluate and improve existing processes to achieve greater business results. This opportunity will allow you to further develop cross-functional team leadership, business analysis, and hone your skills in influencing others.

- This role is located either in one or all hub locations - Atlanta, GA, Washington, D.C., Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX or Phoenix, AZ.
- Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location.
- This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 50%.

Responsibilities
- Contribute to cross-team projects as needed to meet the changing business environment and manage business needs.
- Help in managing the team’s rhythm of the business (ROB) activities and deliverables.
- Identify and scope opportunities to develop new projects or programs and improve current ones.
- Incorporate feedback from others to identify opportunities for future process improvements.
- Support the development of content for internal communications and communicate relevant information to the organization as required.
- Help coordinate an ever-changing variety of internal initiatives and projects.
- Continue to build a culture of speed, flexibility, and frugality with all business partners.
- Closely collaborate with other internal teams such as operations, legal, finance, treasury, tax and risk assessment to help deliver highly successful projects.
- Collect and evaluate success criteria and performance metrics.
