Your role in our mission

- Develops queries, VBA, Visual Basic for Applications, modules and procedures, and prepare reports with metric/data analysis based upon data related to the Managed Care Organizations (MS Access, MS Excel).
- Designs and develops audit tools that can interface with existing data sources utilizing applications such as MS Excel, Access, or SQL database functions.
- Perform data audits utilizing developed business requirements.
- Monitor, review and analyze MCO provider networks to ensure access to care. MCO Reporting is network analysis reports on the managed care organizations.
- Analyze MCO submitted reports and data.
- Ability to review data and reports for timeliness, accuracy, and provider network adequacy including point in time, across time, and/or across programs.
- Develops, prepares, and ensures all provider network analysis reports are completed accurately and timely.
- Track and monitor provider network terminations, perform impact/disruption analysis as necessary.
- Follow unit process for data integrity checks, issuance of correct actions plans or other documents within defined time frames.
- Produce and give presentations on analysis conducted.
- Provide data entry and review to meet unit needs.
- Utilizes State approved GIS (Geographic Information System) to perform the tasks as requested.
What we're looking for
- 6+ years of database and applications development experience with proficiency in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) modules, SQL and ACCESS and Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, etc)
- Must be highly analytical and detail oriented with ability to creatively problem solve.
- Good working knowledge of GIS and Geocoding tools is a bonus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong self-starter with time management skills.
- Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
- Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers and customers.
What you should expect in this role
- FULLTIME ONSITE ROLE: Must live within a commutable distance from Trenton, NJ 08625 and agree to be onsite Monday to Friday.
