SUMMARY: The Client Executive / Director of Property & Casualty Operations, Texas Territory position offers a unique opportunity for a career-minded individual to make a significant impact within our organization. The position involves mentoring the client service teams, proactively identifying and meeting client needs, and ensuring the retention and growth of a defined book of business. Additionally, the role includes driving alignment and consistency of Territory-level client service operations through partnership with the Territory Leader, Regional Operations Leader and leadership of service teams.

LOCATION:  This role requires a hybrid work schedule out of our Dallas, Austin or Houston office, 3 days a week in office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist Producers in all aspects of client servicing and developing new and renewal business.
• Ensure the Texas P&C EPIC Service Team understands overall client needs, service delivery methods, and performance requirements to exceed client expectations.
• Identify and coordinate appropriate EPIC resources to support clients in implementing strategies, including client-specific renewal strategies.
• Work collaboratively with Producers, Risk Control Consultants, Claims Manager, and Support Personnel for the development and delivery of risk summaries, stewardship reports, and loss analysis.
• Provide oversight of the timely and accurate completion of mid-term endorsements, certificates, invoices, audits, etc.
• Guide the review of client exposure and identify recommendations for program coverages.
• Partner with colleagues regarding mentorship, training, and development.
• Travel as needed to meet with clients and assist in the production of new accounts.
• Assist in operational aspects of budget preparation and monthly reconciliation.
• Oversee the A/R and A/P process and track issues in partnership with leadership, escalating as needed.
• Manage the compensation process for client service colleagues.
• Confirm client service platform alignment with EPIC service standards and reduce E&O exposure.
• Identify colleagues with subject matter expertise and leadership potential to build succession plans.
• Lead recruiting efforts and ensure consistency in onboarding and training for new colleagues.
• Lead alignment and delivery against all EPIC initiatives for the Territory.
• Manage the staff’s workload, annual goals, and ensure the team remains within expense parameters.
• Foster innovative thinking and encourage team members to put forth and participate in new ideas to improve the team and the company.
• Communicate with team members through regular meetings on company updates, team performance, and other relevant data.
• Inspire team members to provide a high level of service to clients by building personalized relationships and understanding clients’ business and industry.
• Develop team members’ knowledge of insurance carrier products, market trends, and solutions for clients.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 7 – 10 years of commercial property and casualty insurance experience in a client-facing role.
• At least ten years of appropriate insurance experience, coupled with project, operations, account team management, and senior leadership experience.
• Property and Casualty Broker License and ability to successfully maintain required licensing through required Continuing Education.
• Valid Driver License.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office programs such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Evidence of ability to become proficient in internal EPIC software tools and systems. Proficiency in Sagitta and ImageRight is preferred.
• Insurance industry designations preferred (CIC, CPCU, CRM, etc.).

KEY COMPETENCIES:
• Strong leadership skills within the Property and Casualty servicing function, with experience in delegation, coaching, and mentoring of colleagues.
• Excellent negotiation skills and in-depth working knowledge of the insurance business within assigned clients’ industries.
