About the role:

We’re looking for a talented and nimble Motion Designer to freelance with our Marketing team in-person. You exhibit good taste, are comfortable working through creative iterations in a speedy fashion, and are eager to jump in on a variety of video and animation projects, working on a range of in-app visuals in different styles. 

Key Responsibilities:

This is a cross-functional freelance role, working with members of the Marketing, Engineering, and Design teams. This includes:

• Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with the marketing, engineering and product design teams to build in-app visuals and assets that enhance the user experience. You'll play an important role in elevating our product offerings, whether it’s crafting UI animations or designing interactive graphics

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Visual Effects preferred, or equivalent professional experience

• 3-7 years of professional experience as a motion designer or interaction designer

• Proven track record of creating motion graphics, titles, and animations for various platforms including digital, broadcast, and social media

• Proficiency Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premier Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) and Figma

• Experience with 2D motion design; knowledge of Lottie/ RIVE is a plus!

• Prior experience working with product or engineering teams is preferred

• Strong grasp of design, composition, typography, and layout principles

• Efficient project management in a fast paced, high volume environment

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
