What this job involves

The Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for delivering market, supplier, and operational intelligence for services operations while identifying and leading field resources to execute strategic initiatives. This role serves as a subject matter expert supporting JLL sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, and program management in close collaboration with clients, Sourcing, Facility, and Property Management teams. The position requires conducting market trend analysis, implementing regional and national programs, and ensuring compliance with JLL's sourcing and contracting policies. The specialist will establish relationships with Corporate Legal and Risk Management, support diversity programs, and lead supplier performance initiatives while driving both immediate and sustained benefits to clients through strategic procurement and supplier management.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Performing periodic market trend analysis in specific categories, analyzing supplier base and industry changes, and reporting analysis to Supply Chain and business stakeholders in client-ready formats
  • Implementing, coordinating, and communicating regional and national programs while supporting Category Management team's supplier relationship and performance programs with key suppliers
  • Providing management, instruction, and follow-up to support operations teams' RFP/bid, contracting, and operational processes while proactively managing internal and external customer expectations
  • Ensuring compliance with JLL's sourcing and contracting policies, procedures, risk management programs, and ethics standards across all procurement activities
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with Corporate Legal and Risk Management to ensure all contractual terms and conditions comply with standards and are formally reviewed and approved
  • Establishing work priorities, assigning deliverables, and resolving issues with Operations teams and project personnel to ensure client and customer satisfaction
  • Participating in and providing leadership to Preferred Supplier performance review meetings while supporting JLL e-commerce procurement initiatives and diversity programs

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Standard office environment with desk-based work
  • Collaboration with decentralized teams across multiple locations
  • May require travel to meet with suppliers, clients, and field resources
  • Regular participation in meetings with internal stakeholders and external suppliers

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university
  • 3+ years of strategic sourcing or related experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and communication abilities (oral and written)
  • Proven ability to lead teams in a decentralized environment
  • Advanced presentation and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and drive projects to completion
  • Excellent PC skills with proficiency in MS Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management experience
  • Business transitions experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Knowledge of e-commerce procurement systems and initiatives
  • Experience with supplier diversity programs and mentoring suppliers
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation and legal review processes
  • Understanding of risk management programs and compliance requirements in procurement environments

Estimated compensation for this position:

93,600.00 – 103,600.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
