The Opportunity
Guild Academy is our product that enables social learning at scale, customized to each enterprise. This Senior PM will own the full Academy learner experience - how learners engage with the content, the product, and most importantly - each other.
You'll be responsible for making sure learners are genuinely delighted - that they’re coming back to Academy because they are getting value, not just checking a box. That means deeply understanding learner behavior and how to get them excited, even addicted, to social learning. You’ll be extremely metrics-driven and customer centric - tirelessly digging into what makes learners come back for more, and what makes them leave.
You’ll stay competition-aware and engaged in the trends in the L&D space but use those as inputs, not guideposts, to continuously iterate on our differentiated experience. You’ll work closely with engineering, design, data, go-to-market team, and our Academy Success team and you'll use AI tooling to move faster (prototyping, research synthesis, testing ideas quickly).
This is a remote role with occasional (2 x per quarter) travel to Denver.
Outcomes You'll Be Expected to Achieve
- Maintaining and improving our 80%+ completion rate for non-required learning
- Supporting learner behavior change by designing and shipping features that enable collaboration, practice, and habit-formation
- Creating and tracking learner social networks as they build cross-functional connections
What You'll Do to Achieve These Outcomes
- Create fast iteration cycles—you’ll use AI tooling to prototype and test ideas before committing engineering resources and constantly stay up to date on latest available tools and features
- Own strategy and roadmap for the learner experience - engage in extensive market and learner research, plan features, get cross-functional and learner feedback and drive rapid delivery
- Lead research and discovery in close partnership with design to understand what learners actually need (not just what stakeholders assume)
- Build quick prototypes using AI-assisted tools to explore ideas
- Partner with engineering and design to ship quality work on a predictable cadence
- Use data and experimentation to make decisions—track what's working, kill what isn't
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders
- Keep people aligned and ensure what you are building work both for the learners and the teams supporting them
- Actively communicate priorities, sequencing, trade-offs, and timelines
- Partner closely with the PM who owns the administrator experience (inclusive of Analytics, Admin features, and CMS) to ensure those experiences are seamless and that everything important observed in the learner experience is reported and managed in the admin one.
- Contribute to a collaborative, creative, and quickly-moving team - you’re a team player who loves listening to ideas as much as coming up with them and are able to incorporate feedback while constantly putting the learning-voice first
You're Probably a Strong Candidate If You:
- Are passionate about how individuals learn, and what keeps them engaged
- Owned a product area end-to-end and shipped improvements that moved real outcomes (not just launched features)
- Have led discovery work that changed what the team b
