The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Retail Marketing Manager to join our team. This person will be responsible for developing and executing sampling programs for major retailers with a focus on the Club Channel. This individual will run retailer sampling programs and partner closely with our US Brand Execution Representative team to coordinate marketing tactics in an effort to align buyer habits with stocking, pricing, and presentation strategies in stores to increase sales.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver sampling programs, effectively executing upon sales strategies to drive revenue.
• Manage all demo programs at Costco, Sam’s Club, BJs, and other retailers.
• Manage all sampling programs for Walmart and Target.
• Serve as merchandising guide management for our US Brand Execution Representative team.
• Assist the VP Sales Non-Bev in reviewing the monthly sales forecast to ensure appropriate inventory levels.
• Assist VP Sales Non-Bev in any overflow sales activities across all sales channels.
• Collaborate with sales leadership to build monthly reporting for C-Suite.
• Collaborate with sales operations and sales leadership to implement process improvements and technology solutions that enhance sales productivity and effectiveness.
• Create sales enablement materials to support team needs and document processes.
• Facilitate successful implementation of new programs by ensuring a well-defined, efficient sales process is in place for launch.
• Foster an organization of continuous process improvement.
• Partner with Marketing to ensure alignment of execution between team and strategy.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, sales methodologies, and best practices to drive innovation and continuous improvement within the sales organization.
• Introduce new strategies, tools, and approaches to enhance the sales process and exceed revenue goals.

Requirements

·       5+ years of marketing experience within the CPG industry (Beverage preferred)

·       Experience working with major retailers conducting sampling programs.

·       Experience with merchandising.

·       Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

·       Working knowledge of CPG or food and beverage business models and processes to sell into retailers in each channel.

·       Experience or exposure to sales forecasting and reporting on inventory levels

·       Experience supporting Sales teams.

·       Excellent communication skills, including presentation and training ability.
