Job Description

Purpose: The Operations Assistant provides general office and logistical support to the Operations team. The Operations Assistant ensures that the Operations team has the materials needed to execute the Fulfillment and Manufacturing functions and provides support to the Customization and Inventory teams when needed.  The Operations Assistant understands the daily workflow of the Operations team and is a consistent and diligent team player.  

Qualifications

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Supports the Fulfilment and Manufacturing teams in office by performing assigned tasks 
  • Prepares and builds shipping cartons, maintains adequate levels of built cartons 
  • Assists Fulfilment Specialists with preparing and packaging outgoing device shipments 
  • Works with the Manufacturing Specialists to unbox inventory and prepare new manufacturing batches 
  • Performs final prep and quality control on newly manufactured inventory 
  • Assists with loaner device sanitization and check-in 
  • Provides support to the Inventory and Customization teams during periods of heavy workload 
  • Participates in team meetings and contributes to team goals and metrics 
  • May be required to perform other duties as assigned

We are looking for a self-motivated individual with strong teamwork skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and a strong attention to detail.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience 
  • 0-1 years of office, retail, or service industry experience 

Additional Information

Work Environment & Physical Demands 

The work environment is that of a typical office environment. The noise level is low to moderate. 

This is a part time position. Flexibility to work 2 to 3 days per week, 8 hours per day, as business and schedule requires.  

Must be able to operate a computer with or without a reasonable accommodation.  Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Position requires lifting overhead, twisting, bending and squatting to lift boxes or office equipment.   

Travel 

Position is located in Princeton, NJ. Additional travel is not required for this position.
