Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is currently seeking a Production Test Technician 2 to join our Production Test Team located in Salt Lake City, UT.

What You’ll Get to Do:

Perform test and evaluation of Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) Systems
Troubleshoot and repair IMU Systems as required
Support production movement as needed to support daily requirements
Set up test apparatus and conduct testing of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences
Lay out and assemble units for production equipment according to designs and specifications
Adjust and calibrate systems as needed
Modify equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches
Correct malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components as directed
Use hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties
Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent with 2 years additional education and/or relevant experience
Ability to read and understand Assembly Instruction and Test Procedures
Experience in using digital multi-meters and other lab test equipment
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Level Security Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a manufacturing test environment
Experience working with Test and Manufacturing engineers
Experience trouble-shooting navigational Instruments
Associates Degree or higher in a related field
