The Work You Will Do:
Highway Maintenance Tech Coordinator - District Four/Director of Operations / District Maintenance / Ft. Lauderdale Maintenance - Sign/Marking
This position will be responsible for selecting materials, planning workloads, maintaining operational records, and supervising maintenance crews. Duties also include operating and maintaining medium to heavy equipment, performing manual highway maintenance, and conducting regular inspections to ensure equipment safety. Additional responsibilities involve training crew members, managing traffic control measures, and carrying out other assigned tasks. A valid CDL permit, or license is required to operate equipment.

Annual Salary Range:
$40,854.63 - $52,870.70
A Competitive Area Differential (CAD) additive in the amount of $1,934.40 will be added to the annual salary.
Your Specific Responsibilities:
Coordinates, participates, and directs the maintenance activity of the assembly and erection of highway signs as needed. Assists in selecting materials, supplies, equipment, inspecting, planning workloads, workflows, deadlines, work objectives and time utilization with employees. Maintains records of operation. Prepares and maintains daily paperwork such as crew activity reports and daily vehicle check lists.
Upon receipt of the required CDL Instructional permit or license; operates vehicles and a variety of medium and heavy equipment. Performs preventative maintenance and pre-trip and post-trip inspections on equipment operated. Performs light maintenance and servicing work in connection with any type of equipment operated and assists in the repairs of this equipment; checks and adds fluids, checks/adjusts
