You will be a key member of the team, as a highly visible role focusing on driving short, and medium term planning and forecasting, drive operational efficiencies, and support business decision making.  The role will also involve driving process and system improvements to better align our multiple financial processes. In addition to partnering with our internal clients within the Business Units, the role requires the ability to work across multiple finance teams (accounting, treasury, tax, and other FP&amp;A teams).  This role will provide a strong springboard to move into other finance roles given the need to help drive decisions based on economics, as well as financial needs. </p> <p><strong>Job Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Own top line forecasting globally across Pure's core and emerging markets from pipeline to bookings</li> <li>Own cloud spend monitoring, optimisation and reporting</li> <li>Key top-line metrics reconciliation at the granular level. Tell the story of business performance using high impact visuals with compelling insights</li> <li>Support the BU-wide annual and long-range planning processes</li> <li>Partner with BU, GTM orgs and other G&amp;A orgs in the company to develop and monitor key performance indicators to drive insights and decision making in order to achieve our strategic and financial plans</li> <li>Own reporting, forecasting, and management of operating expenses, capital, and headcount in partnership with Finance teams, Business Units and Talent Acquisition</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You Bring to the Team</strong></p> <ul> <li>Advanced proficiency in financial analysis and modeling with strong Excel skills</li> <li>BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent; MBA a plus.</li> <li>Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently in a fast pace and ambiguous environment, can simultaneously manage multiple priorities.</li> <li>Ability to partner cross-functionally, through strong relationship building, influencing, negotiating and communication skills, with all levels of management.</li> <li>6-8 Years of progressively complex roles in a financial function with financial planning and analysis experience/understanding, particularly in an FP&amp;A role.</li> </ul><p> </p> <p><strong>BE YOU—CORPORATE CLONES NEED NOT APPLY.</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span>Pure is where you ask big questions, think differently, and make an impact.
