Quality Specialist - Blue Ash, OH

What You Will Do:

• Maintain and improve process for calibration, maintenance, and repair process
• Coordinate outsourcing calibration activities and ensure, maintain calibration records and ensure proper calibration activities are completed to schedule
• Ensure compliance with inspection, measuring, and test equipment industry standards
• Maintain and improve process for document control
• Process organization's document requests including review, control, and distribution of new and revised documents
• Manage the removal of obsolescent documentation in accordance with the document request process
• Maintain record management within the document control database
• Process daily internal scrap data through scrap database system
• Assist with the report and distribution of manufacturing quality reporting
• Conduct various data entry functions including process audits and routine customer complaint reporting
• Generate inspection and testing reports for various inspection and audit activities
• Develop supplier quality problem reporting
• Assist with developing process flows and drafting various quality documents including procedures, work instructions, and data collection tools
• Participate with problem solving activities including process review & investigation, root cause analysis, and countermeasure development
• Assist with supplier quality problem containment and resolution
• Review customer concerns daily - use A3 approach to problem solve
• Review high dollar customer concerns daily - use A3 approach to problem solve

What You Need to Succeed:

• Maintain basic knowledge of manufacturing and warehousing processes and capabilities
• The desire to learn and apply new concepts
• Able to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Must possess a strong customer service orientation and provide dedicated support of internal and external customer requirements
• Must be a strong written and verbal communicator, able to communicate to various audiences effectively
• Team oriented, must have the ability to work cohesively with others
• Must be able to work well with external suppliers
• Must possess ability to thrive in a manufacturing environment
• Must be detail-oriented and self-motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment
