The Role:
At Logitech Headquarters in Lausanne, we are actively seeking an Embedded Software or Microelectronics engineer to join our Mechatronics team. As a member of our diverse, multidisciplinary team, which includes individuals from Mechanical, Embedded Software, Electrical, Software, and System engineering backgrounds, you will play a crucial role in developing a wide range of concepts and experiences for Logitech products. This will involve the design, conception, implementation, and validation of advanced technologies, as well as creating testing setups for manufacturing design. Additionally, you will be an integral part of a team that builds technology blocks in the Strategic Front End, oversees product development, and ensures successful mass production in the Far East.

Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the entire spectrum of product development, from conceptualization and design to implementation and validation.
Collaborate across diverse and inclusive teams, including Electrical, Embedded Software, Mechanical, Software, and System engineers.
Contribute to the creation of testing setups aimed at optimizing quality and industrialization.
Help shape the future of Logitech products by working on cutting-edge technologies.
Support product development from the Strategic Front End to successful mass production in the Far East.

Designing, developing, analyzing, documenting, and testing new technologies for integration into future products.
Collaborating with external suppliers and identifying potential new partners.
Working with cross-functional teams globally to transition technologies to mass production.
Teaming up with design and marketing teams to identify new customer needs and create delightful experiences.
Key Qualifications:
To be considered for our team, you need to have the following skills and behaviors:
Proficiency in writing, testing, and debugging firmware or embedded software in microcontrollers using C and C++.
Experience in ARM Cortex-M series MCU firmware development.
Hands-on experience with multiple embedded platforms such as Nordic, STMicrocontroller, TI, Arduino, mBed, and Raspberry PI.
Ability to interface with sensors and actuators.
Working knowledge of standard embedded interface protocols including analog, I2C, SPI, and UART.
Expertise in debugging embedded systems to refine and optimize prototypes.
Understanding of electronics design, including the conception, design, and validation of electronic boards.
Proficiency in Python or another scripting or programming language.
Experience with soldering and wiring, and the ability to support and repair rapid prototypes.
Capable of reviewing schematic and PCB designs.
Good understanding of complex systems and proficiency in using programming tools and standard lab equipment.
Working knowledge in mechanics.
Fluency in English and French, both in speaking and writing.
Willingness to travel for product development and mass production in the Far East, as necessary.
