Company Description
The RRD Commercial Print platform is looking for a Regional VP of Sales to support our sales field of 250+ professionals in identifying opportunities and expanding our share of wallet in key accounts, as well as, qualifying and developing new key accounts. This role will be instrumental in strategy, account planning and execution to support our business and sales objectives while leading and partnering with sales, operations and marketing.
Job Description
- Support the sales management for their region applying effective cadence, discipline and coaching.
- Work closely with CP Sales, Sales Managers, Plant Presidents and others to proactively identify and build strategic account plans for current and prospective key accounts with the goal of converting them to qualified/accepted opportunities and ultimately closing new business and expanding our share of wallet.
- Obtain and apply market research/competitive intelligence to understand client/user needs and to identify market trends and dynamics in our clients vertical
- Lead the creation of professional presentation materials for both internal and external audiences.
- Proven experience in managing teams working cross-functionally within an organization
- Develops proposals, delivers presentations, and gains consensus on terms of client agreements/contracts
- Manage outreach activities and track key metrics and pipeline information in SF.com
- Provide routine sales activity reports
- Delivers strategic business reviews including performance measures, revenue generation, site and/or client development, trend analysis, program initiatives, and strategic planning
- Successfully communicate RRD messaging and solution set to prospects and clients
- Recommend new ideas and approaches for marketing and positioning RRD solutions within our existing clients as well as to prospective clients
- Be an ambassador of the brand, ensuring it represents and advocates for the voice of the client
- Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values a commitment to quality
- Uses influence skills to navigate decisions through the organization quickly and adeptly while generating buy-in
- Participates and supports RRDs’ sales training and development program
- Assist with the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns and communications to acquire new customers, generate new pipeline opportunities and accelerate sales opportunities in pipeline ensuring all activities are aligned to sales priorities

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred. Education requirements may be substituted with advanced years of progressive Managerial and/or Executive experience working in a commercial printing environment.
- Minimum 8 years experience in Sales or Business Development.
- Experience in print sales, business development, business management and marketing preferred
- Proven C-level selling experience
- Personal skills must include— Planning & Organization/Work Management, Analysis/Problem Assessment, Individual leadership & Influencing, interpersonal relationship building, ability to initiate and lead, anticipate changes or needs, set new priorities, follow through and meet deadlines
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong negotiation skills, oral and written communications in English
