Period of Appointment

12 months.

Hours per fortnight

73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available. 

Duties

• Develop clear and consistent communication tools, awareness raising and education resources, and sector preparedness materials, including assisting with developing and implementing campaigns.
• Develop, implement, monitor and review action plans, including the provision of strategic advice and identification of issues and risks.
• Identify, engage, build relationships, liaise, and consult with internal and external stakeholders including Departmental and Ministerial staff, and the non-government and private sectors, on the expansion of the RWVP Scheme.
• Engage and work collaboratively with the project team to plan, manage and deliver a complex change program, including mapping timelines and identifying project deliverables and dependencies.
• In conjunction with the Change Lead coordinate and co-facilitate stakeholder consultation via a variety communication channels, ensuring proactive and effective communications to multiple and diverse stakeholders.
• Analysis and reporting on consultation data and integrate consultation outcomes into policy development & project activities.

Essential Requirements

• A Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Registration.

Desirable Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience in areas such as journalism, communications and/or marketing, public relations, community engagement, social work, health and/or policy, participatory project management.
• Familiarity with contemporary content creation tools.
