IT Advisor, Technology Consulting – Digital and Emerging Technologies - Senior Engineer (Full Stack Architect) (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1506655), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Dallas, TX

 

 

Assist clients on new technology delivery, maintenance and the future online digital roadmap leveraging various technologies. Partner closely with the product and creative divisions, providing broad technical and functional knowledge of various key technology and business platforms, to develop the best solutions for the business and provide a best in the industry experience. Lead complex design and build efforts associated with digital solutions following Agile & DevOps methodologies. Review and participate in key architecture decisions, including creating target state digital architecture blueprints and roadmaps. Work with delivery lead on solution deployment approach and estimation. Design and oversee the solutioning of digital application architecture and integration to the broad enterprise architecture. Automate tools, processes and technology to allow for greater engineering throughput, quality and progress. Ensure best practices are followed by enforcing coding standards (SDLC guidelines), Unit Tests and performing code reviews. Ensure all components are documented. Support and troubleshoot production issues. Lead team members in developing applicable methodologies, tools, approaches, points of view, thought leadership and accelerators to differentiate EY in the Digital and Emerging Technology Advisory market. Team with client technology professionals, and third-party strategic alliances. Work in project teams through agreed upon phases

of project governance, requirements definition, vendor selection, risk analysis, customization, design, development, testing, training and rollout of a client's project lifecycle.

 

Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills, backgrounds and geographical locations. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

 

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related field of study and 5 years of related progressive post bachelor’s experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics or a related field of study and 4 years of related experience.

 

Must have 4 years of professional services or consulting experience.

 

Must have 2 years of experience supervising technology professionals.

 

Must have 3 years of experience using a combination of at least 2 of the following middleware and transport layers:

• APIs: GraphQL, Apollo Datasources, and/or REST
• Ruby on Rails
• Architecture: NestJS, ExpressJS, Fastify, Go, and/or Spring Boot
• Serialization and transformation: Avro, object-mapper, and/or class-transformer
• Microservice architecture and patterns
• Node.js ecosystem (npm, Axios, PM2, and/or socket.io)
• Spring ecosystem (Maven/Gradle, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and/or Spring Data)

 

Must have 1 year of combined experience using at least one of the following packages:

• Gulp
• SASS
• Webpack

 

Must have 3 years of experience using a combination involving at least two of the following security packages:

• Tokenization
• Encryption and hashing
• Authentication and authorization
• CORS

 

Must have 4 years of experience using at least one of the following integrated development environments:

• WebStorm
• VSCode
• IntelliJ
• Eclipse

 

Must have 2 years of experience using one of the following front-end technologies:

• Front-end frameworks: React, Angular, and/or Vue.js
• Application delivery: Native Mobile, Hybrid, SPA, and/or PWA
• Tooling: Ionic, React Native, NativeScript, Flutter, and/or TypeScript
