Human Resources Project Coordinator

Job Summary 

The Human Resources Project Coordinator, in partnership with the CHRO, leads and executes critical human resources projects from initiation through completion. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, communicative, and eager to work closely with cross-functional teams to help drive HR process improvements, system implementations, and compliance efforts. The HR Project Coordinator will help plan and manage projects, provide support to various teams, and ensure timely communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Essential Duties 

• Coordinate and support internal HR projects, particularly smaller scope initiatives, or segments of larger projects under the guidance of CHRO.
• Develop and maintain project execution documentation including timelines, task lists, and status reports.
• Serve as the central point of contact for project stakeholders; manage project communications to ensure alignment and timely updates.
• Understand project scope, timelines, resource requirements, and deliverables from the initial planning phase.
• Collaborate with HR teams to support project progress and identify potential challenges or dependencies.
• Organize and lead team meetings, manage progress updates, and support structured workflows to ensure timely task completion.
• Anticipate and escalate project roadblocks, issues, or changes in scope to appropriate team members or leadership.
• Ensure all projects are aligned with HR policies, regulatory requirements, and organizational goals.
• Maintain a strong understanding of HR operations, compliance, and best practices to ensure quality and consistency across initiatives.
• Support the Bank’s Mission Statement by being proactive in providing extraordinary personal service to all of the colleagues of the Bank.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Complies with all State and Federal Banking regulatory requirements, including but not limited to: BSA, Anti-Money Laundering OFAC, CIP, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, Sexual Harassment, Information Security and privacy requirements.  This position will elevate suspicious activity to supervisory staff and/or BSA department. Completes compliance and other technical training workshops as assigned.

Required Knowledge/Qualifications

• 5+ years of HR experience, with at least 2 years’ experience in HR coordination, project coordination, or a related role.
• Proven history of successfully managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of HR practices, employment law, and organizational development.
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent knowledge MS Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)

Basic Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
