The Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) works in partnership with local communities to support people with developmental disabilities in living, learning, and working in their communities. APD provides critical services and support for customers with developmental disabilities to reach their full potential. The Agency serves people with spina bifida, autism, Down syndrome, children ages 3-5 at high risk of developmental disabilities, cerebral palsy, Prader-Willi syndrome, Phelan-McDermid syndrome, and intellectual disabilities. SALARY RANGE

$33,760.00 - $37,136.00 Annually      $1,298.46 - $1,428.31 Biweekly

The hiring salary may exceed the maximum posted salary.

 

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The incumbent (Lead Worker) holds a position of trust and adheres to the policies and procedures that govern the Agency for Persons with Disabilities and Tacachale to ensure the safety of the residents, employees, and visitors of Tacachale.

 

Plans in the absence of or in conjunction with the shift supervisor established workloads, work objectives and time utilization to achieve the most effective and efficient results.  Monitors ongoing work to determine if the work is being performed according to instructions and within established timeframes.  Provides technical assistance and training to ensure productivity, cost effectiveness and a safe work environment.  Motivates employees to improve the quality and quantity of work performed.  Communicates on a regular basis with employees both individually and in staff meetings.
