Assists the Department Administration to manage the overall day-to-day operations of the department; assists with administrative support needs for the faculty and leadership throughout the department and divisions; as well as works collaboratively with all levels of the department to support new process development, initiatives and innovations across the organization.Salary range for this position is $72,160 - $89,332 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package.
Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience1. Master’s degree and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time experience in an administrative role including supervision and operations management; or
2. Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience in an administrative role including supervision and operations management; or
3. Associate’s degree and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time experience in an administrative role including supervision and operations management.
NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experiences:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous/current operational and project management experience in a clinical/medical office setting
- Process development skills: Creation, streamline and development of procedures, workflows, ect.
- Other Support: Professional and grant related presentation content review and editing (for example CV, biosketch, etc.)
- Previous/current executive level administrative support
- Clinical/Research Experience
- Experience in operating in a fast-paced, academic/clinical/professional atmosphere
