Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the Senior People Programs Manager will be a key member of Oura’s People Leadership team and will work closely with People Team colleagues to strengthen, scale, and evolve Oura’s people programs, systems, and practices.

This person will work closely with our core HR, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition teams, in the US and globally, to design and deliver dynamic, meaningful, and engaging people programs for our global workforce. These programs include performance management; compensation; employee engagement; diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and more.

The role will also require collaboration with partners, including Finance, Legal, and Communications to ensure alignment with business requirements, a smooth experience for participants, and opportunities to learn and improve as we go. This is an individual contributor role; the ideal candidate will lead through influence and excel through collaboration.

This is a pivotal role at an important time for Oura. With basic HR processes and systems already in place, we now have the opportunity to refine, streamline, and scale to support the future of the business. What you will do:

  • Work with the Oura People team around the world to deliver on people programs, including performance management; compensation; employee engagement; diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI); employee development
  • Develop detailed work plans, schedules, and resource plans to ensure the timely and coordinated execution of key program objectives
  • For global programs, coordinate closely with colleagues in Finland to ensure logical and efficient division of work and a smooth experience for participants in all locations
  • Communicate program status through regular updates appropriate for the target audience
  • Use data and metrics available to analyze and track the progress and results of delivered programs
  • Conduct after action reviews to capture learning and drive continuous improvement
  • Be open to embrace new problems and projects as needed

Full-time, hybrid preferred (SF, SD, or Boston); other US locations may be considered for remote.

Requirements

We’d love to consider you for this role if you have:

  • At least six years of experience in HR and project or program management, or managing complex projects within a People organization
  • Past experience creating and leading internal people projects designed for scale in a high growth and fast-paced environment
  • Experience in at least one of these program areas:
    • DEI programs
    • Recognition programs
    • Employee surveys
    • Compensation management
    • Performance management
    • Career development programs
  • Analytical skills; comfort with using data to understand and explain program rationale and impact
  • Ability to lead through influence
  • Ability to work independently while managing and monitoring projects to completion, solving problems creatively, and delivering results in an organized manner
  • Ability to connect one on one and in group settings with a diverse workforce

Bonus points for:

  • Experience with HR-related systems (e.g., Sapling, Workday, CultureAmp, Carta)
  • Experience in delivering programs to a global, distributed, and hybrid workforce
