The Director, WWS Product Group Lead Safety Case Intake & Processing leads the digital Medical/Regulatory/Safety team responsible for all product/technologies/solutions that enable the business process for compliant intake and processing of all possible adverse drug reaction (ADRs) which are reported to Pfizer Inc., Pfizer WWS business processes the largest amount of ADRs in the industry. As part of the R&D Creation Center’s Medical/Regulatory/Safety Digital LT this role is responsible for setting strategic direction, oversees product management, and drives AI-powered innovation for Pfizer’s WWS case intake and processing platforms and systems. You will guide a global team delivering scalable, intelligent, and patient-safety centric and GxP compliant solutions which ensure the WWS business is able to maintain compliance with Global Board of Health (BOH) policies/procedures and regulations related to compliant and timely intake and processing of possible ADRs.

As a senior leader, you will shape the strategy for WWS case intake and processing platforms, products and systems, integrating advanced technologies such as generative AI, real-time data pipelines, and predictive analytics to improve case intake and processing efficiency and decision-making. In collaboration with Digital peers and Pfizer R&D Medical/Regulatory/Safety AI, Data & Engineering team, you will deliver technical services—including architecture, quality, analytics, and data management—to design, build, and implement innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable solutions. This leader is accountable for project and enhancement delivery for over 20 systems, including several which are Pfizer Tier 1 including Argus, PVAI Intake, Genesis, Global AE Follow Up and other AI technologies.

Vision and Strategy

• Defines and owns the vision and strategy for digital capabilities that enable timely ADR case intake and processing, emphasizing a product-centric model that supports Pfizer’s WWS strategy through cutting-edge digital technologies.

• Anticipates technology trends, prioritizing investments in AI and automation that enable scalable, efficient acceleration and delivery of innovation to safety case intake and processing.

• Collaborates across Digital and business areas to architect and scale innovations that strengthen Pfizer’s WWS case intake and processing strategy and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Strategic Leadership

• Establishes, matures, and governs a strategic product and digital operating model, ensuring clear ownership, accountability, and continuous evolution to meet business needs.

• Operationalizes emerging technologies through robust governance frameworks, aligning with Pfizer R&D, regulatory, compliance, and patient safety objectives.

• Designs and leads a strategic vendor framework to manage partnerships with critical vendors (e.g., Oracle, Veeva, IBM Microsoft), ensuring quality delivery and scalability.

• Leads AI delivery to embed machine learning and automation into the safety case intake and processing workflows, while building process mining capabilities to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement in the digital delivery model.

• Owns global digital program delivery, ensuring efficient scaling of solutions and streamlined delivery processes across safety case intake and processing platforms/products/solutions.
