THE OPPORTUNITY

My area of research is consumer behavior: specifically, the study of non-traditional consumption units, analyzing the impact of cultural and sensory influences on decision making and consumption, and the coexistence of diverse entities, perspectives, beliefs, modes of sensing and consuming in individuals, households and society. The research assistant would assist with various aspects of research projects relating to the above research.

data collection and analysis

reviewing and editing of research manuscripts

other tasks related to global research network collaborations

WHAT EDUCATION AND SKILLS YOU WILL NEED

Strong organizational skills

Ability to work with MS Office

HOW AND WHERE YOU WILL WORK

The research assistant will work approximately 10-15 hours per week, with some weeks potentially less or more than the 10-15 hour average. Employment will be effective from July 6th upon approval through summer 2026, and if agreed by both parties, until the end of the spring semester 2027.
