If you are excited to work in a role that offers a variety of responsibilities, a sophisticated technical environment and the opportunity to have a lasting impact on an international organization, then this is the job for you! </p><p></p><p><b>What are you going to do?</b><br/>As the Global Operational Excellence Leader Maintenance, you will be leading, inspiring and motivating a group wide engineering community, through development and deployment of the Engineering vision and strategy, including focus on improvements in People Development, Asset Care and Maintenance processes, Maintenance Cost and Health, Safety & Environmental compliance. <br/>Key focus is on delivery of OE targets and availability improvement while increasing maintenance excellence capability worldwide and developing our operational maturity. The purpose of this role is to act as the central subject matter expert, gatekeeper and custodian of Maintenance Excellence tools, processes, good practices and frameworks. You’ll be also responsible for development of the improvement plans, based on prioritization by value/impact, and also the tools, good practices and frameworks to ensure successful achievement of business goals. You will then support deployment through the Business Unit Operational and Maintenance teams. Key focus will be on delivery of OE targets and CO2 reduction while increasing maintenance excellence capability worldwide and developing our operational maturity in maintenance. </p><p></p><p><b>Your responsibilities</b><br/>• Aligned leadership: Designing & deploying Maintenance Excellence strategy and ensure alignment at all levels. Ensuring legislative compliance for the Business through periodic audit and benchmarking to enable consistency across the Group. Promoting the sustainability and energy reduction agenda and across the engineering community.<br/>• Performance Routines & KPI’s: Ensuring we have a defined set of measures across the business to support strategy, being reviewed at correct frequency by correct people at desired frequency & quality.<br/>• Aligned Maintenance improvement tools: Ensuring teams are equipped with relevant improvement tools / processes to achieve strategic goals. Ensuring that the Blueprints are in place for Key processes & ways of working. <br/>• Highlighting improvement areas: Developing and deploying maturity assessment and ensure all sites have annual maturity improvement plans in place. Ensure there is a defined spares strategy & work with central purchasing to optimize the costs of parts & services, continually improving the quality of service & performance from the suppliers.<br/>• Competence development: providing training and guidance in process troubleshooting and optimization of equipment. Managing the blueprint for Maintenance competence developed and ensuring development of training material to capture expert knowledge and good practices.<br/>• Aligned org model: Ensuring resources are aligned to strategy and we have a defined organizational design, based on scale & complexity, to support Maintenance Excellence. Promotion of the engineering profession and mentoring of engineers in their desired career path.<br/>• Supporting Systems & Technology: Leading & managing the development & application of maintenance systems across the Business Unit, ensuring a common functionality & develop capability of users to enable best practice performance and working in line with strategies.<br/>• Developing the Group Maintenance policies & procedures, ensuring they are clearly communicated & implemented across the Group; including coordinating the Maintenance forum ensuring best practice is shared.<br/>• Best practice sharing across group: ensuring creation and adoption is tracked.<br/>• Group wide benchmarking to drive performance.<br/>• Lead complex cross company, BU, cross functional or end 2 end projects, as agreed by the Global Operational Excellence Director.</p><p></p><p><b>What we offer</b><br/>As Nutreco our mission is ‘Feeding the Future’.
