About the role

What You Can Expect

At ENGIE, we are accelerating the transition to a carbon-neutral world. This role supports utility-scale renewable projects—including solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS)—across North America, where execution depends on strong, reliable supply chains.

Our Renewables team delivers the infrastructure that powers communities and advances clean energy. We are seeking professionals who can translate complex procurement and supplier coordination into timely, efficient project delivery.

Your work directly drives the successful execution of renewable energy projects across North America.

What You Will Do

  • Support sourcing and procurement of key solar and energy storage equipment across renewable projects
  • Engage suppliers to gather technical and commercial data required for vendor qualification and system design alignment
  • Administer RFQs, including coordinating vendor communications, tracking responses, and supporting bid evaluations
  • Manage purchase orders end-to-end, including creation, issuance, and lifecycle tracking
  • Monitor supplier delivery schedules and performance, proactively escalating risks and delays
  • Communicate order status and key updates to Engineering and Project Management teams
  • Partner with suppliers to expedite deliveries and resolve issues impacting project timelines

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, with foundational knowledge of procurement, contracting, and supply chain principles
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or construction-related environments (e.g., renewables, energy, oil & gas, or industrial projects)
  • Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications to support equipment sourcing decisions
  • Proven ability to manage multiple procurement activities simultaneously with strong accuracy, organization, and follow-through
  • Hands-on experience working with procurement or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Ariba, Coupa) and Microsoft Office tools including Excel and SharePoint
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience coordinating across suppliers and internal project teams
  • Working knowledge of commercial negotiations, vendor management, and supply chain processes within construction, energy, or industrial sectors
