At the same time, it offers flexibility you need to focus and do your best work.</p><p></p><p><b>Mission and Goal</b></p><p></p><p>We look to hire experienced Product Designers (UX/UI) at all levels, with a strong preference for candidates who have experience designing for consumer software products within tech companies, SaaS environments, and digital products. We seek designers who can demonstrate how they’ve influenced business outcomes through experience strategy and end-to-end product design for mobile and desktop platforms, using metrics to measure the impact of their work. As part of our global Product Design Team, you will help shape the next generation of cybersecurity products, working collaboratively to create solutions that are user-friendly, intuitive, and impactful. Your role will span the full design lifecycle, from research and ideation to prototyping and implementation, contributing to Gen's mission of empowering people to live their digital lives safely.</p><p>In this end-to-end design role, you will work closely with product managers, engineers, and researchers to create seamless user experiences across web, mobile, and desktop platforms. You will contribute to the overall design strategy and work on both new feature development and the continuous improvement of existing products.</p><ul><li><b>Short-term goals</b>: Contribute to the design of intuitive, effective, and user-friendly cybersecurity tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the products meet user needs.</li><li><b>Long-term goals</b>: Lead design projects, innovate in the product design space, and influence the strategic direction of our digital safety tools.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Objectives</b></p><ul><li>Take broad, conceptual ideas based on user research and data, turning them into actionable, valuable design solutions that resonate with users.</li><li>Create customer-centric, data-informed experiences that are meaningful, cohesive, accessible, and usable.</li><li>Oversee all aspects of design, including interaction design, information architecture, and visual design to develop and execute business strategy and vision.</li><li>Design new experiences and layouts that contribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency across products and platforms.</li><li>Represent design work to broader product teams and senior leaders, clearly articulating goals, concepts, and strategies.</li><li>Own the overall product experience, collaborating with product and engineering teams to ensure the product meets customer needs and drives engagement.</li><li>Partner with internationalization and localization teams to ensure that designs are globally relevant and scalable, adapting products to various markets and languages.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Competencies</b></p><ul><li>Experience: 3+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design, preferably in B2C or enterprise software products.</li><li>Design Tools: Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, Mural, and others.</li><li>User-Centered Design: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards.</li><li>Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.</li><li>Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile development processes and working in cross-functional, fast-paced teams.</li><li>End-to-End Product Design: Experience in building and shipping features that enc
