Specifically, the focus will be to drive the Insurance renewals under his/her responsibility in terms of cost and coverage that best protect the businesses and comply with local regulations.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Insurance Policy Management and renewal for the Global Programs under his/her responsibility (Marine Cargo, International Casualty, Directors &amp; Officers, Business, Travel &amp; Accident and/or any other lines of coverage the company or business deems necessary)</p></li><li><p>Manage and renewal of specific business programs and coverages (Laird Product recall policy).</p></li><li><p>Management, placement and follow up of local policies required as per country regulations, businesses and contract requirements.</p></li><li><p>Management of all corresponding time-sensitive insurance policy related invoices, payments, allocations, and accounting, including follow-up with the appropriate internal and external teams</p></li><li><p>Global Property Insurance underwriting data collection and validation, including global asset and inventory data for all sites globally</p></li><li><p>Global Process Owner for Surety Bonds: analysis, renewal, documentation follow up.</p></li><li><p>Global Process Owner for certificates of insurance, evidencing coverage as required by customers/suppliers in alignment with business and/or contractual requirements</p></li><li><p>Support any M&amp;A initiative coming from acquisitions or existing business integration ensuring there is no discontinuity in the coverages required.</p></li><li><p>Maintain team training documentation to ensure processes are defined for back-up capabilities</p></li><li><p>Maintain SharePoint site to ensure document control</p></li><li><p>Promote adherence to internal control standards.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Major Challenges</b></p><ul><li><p>Partnership with Marsh to look for improvement opportunities in the configuration of the corporate programs from cost and coverages perspective without degrading the coverage provided.</p></li><li><p>Manage day-to-day insurance related operations granting operational excellence through process simplification</p></li><li><p>Support businesses/functions monitoring the end-to-end process on insurance arrangements. Identify fields where we can expand the range of alternatives than can be provided to consistently deliver a valued service.</p></li><li><p>Leverage with the different internal teams (Finance, Legal, Credit and HR teams), businesses and the different external insurance and surety partners.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Key Contacts</b></p><ul><li><p>Business, Sourcing, Human Resources and Legal.</p></li><li><p>Corporate Insurance broker and Insurance companies</p></li><li><p>Surety partners, regional and local institutions.</p></li><li><p>Regional and local project teams.</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><u>Remark</u></b><b> : </b><b>This position requires flexible schedule and occasional travelling.</b></p><p></p><p><b>Qualifications</b></p><p></p><ul><li><p>Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.</p></li><li><p>7+ years of experience in Finance / Accounting experience is required for this role.</p></li><li><p>Prior experience in Treasury is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills with all levels internally and externally.</p></li><li><p>Ability to consolidate, analyze and deliver data reporting that will drive and impact insurance contract decisions on coverage.</p></li><li><p>Ability to use SAP R/3 financial modules is a plus.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.</p></li><li><p>Conceptual capacity and strong analytical skills.</p></li><li><p>Excellent Verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English are a must.
