Global Head of Capital Market Applications, LaSalle Technology

Overview

LaSalle is seeking a highly motivated person to further develop, implement and oversee the capital market platforms supporting our goals of providing global investors with superior returns, service and reporting.  We are looking for someone who will partner with the IR team, fund teams, and investment teams to develop and own the technology strategy to achieve these goals leveraging best of breed industry software in tandem with custom developed tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Build excellent relationships with the various business lines to gain understanding of the business goals, operations and challenges to develop technology roadmaps that align with their goals and alleviate their challenges

• Provide oversight of our global applications and ensure coordinated use and standardization by the varying business lines

• Identify opportunities for improvement and ways to further leverage global applications

• Coordinate and oversee application configuration, testing, and quality assurance to ensure smooth, secure and timely implementations and upgrades

• Develop strong relationships with application vendors to ensure superior ongoing support

• Use problem-solving skills that help identify, isolate and resolve application related problems and issues in a timely fashion to negate or minimize business disruption

• Responsible for escalating, assisting and follow-through on resolution of issues related to delivery of application services

• Partner with the business functions to document business processes, challenges and opportunities, perform process and system assessments to identify opportunities for improvements, develop system roadmaps, and guide business stakeholders on application and technology decisions

• Manage change management processes inclusive of user acceptance testing & adoption to ensure a consistent, secure, integrated, effective, and available enterprise applications ecosystem

• Manage and track a portfolio of projects inclusive of defining goals & requirements, managing project timelines, budgeting, assigning & allocating resources, coordinating third-parties, managing risks, contingency planning, organizing & leading steering committees, and communicating status

• Manage software design lifecycles in support of development, evolution, and maintenance of systems integrations

Experience & Qualifications

• Masters degree with a minimum of 15 years in the real estate/investment management industry

• Significant recent/past experience with CRM, Deal Management, and Data Platforms in the CRE industry

• Experience leading global teams

Knowledge/Skills

• Knowledge of real estate investment management processes and systems required

• Strong knowledge of cloud-based technologies (Azure preferred) and integration techniques

• Knowledge of new software development practices and technologies, including cloud-native architectures, microservices, DevOps and agile methodologies

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills required

• Strong relationship management skills

• Self-motivated, able to set and maintain priorities while working toward operational goals

• Concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements

• Understanding of and commitment to client service

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Must be well organized, flexible and able to work independently and in a team environment

Estimated total compensation for this position:

200,000.00 – 250,000.00 USD per year
