- Supervises and instructs WIC team members on proper WIC guidelines. Maintains audits, conducts trainings, maintains training records, and EPMS's for individual staff. Provides and documents feedback and appraisals.
- Provides culturally competent customer service while greeting and conducting interviews to public health clients in accordance with the WIC program and agency policies and procedures. Answers telephones and schedules appointments as necessary. Processes information, completes medical records and enters all client information into applicable electronic applications or SCWIC systems as mandated. Ensures that staff complies with program and agency guidelines for issuance of eWIC cards in the SCWIC system and issues Farmers' Market benefits.
- Follows established guidelines for customer service and cultural competency, ensuring staff adheres to WIC Program procedures. Follows up on customer service complaints as outlined or directed by the region state plan.
- Attend relevant program and agency trainings and meetings. Ensures necessary materials and resources are available for Administrative staff. Prepares and submits required reports as mandated or requested.
- Completes other duties as assigned.
