We are seeking a Director of Media to lead paid media efforts across social, search, and programmatic on a Fortune 500 client. If you’re a client-facing data wonk who has a solid background in media strategy plus leadership abilities in spades, we want to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the planning, execution and reporting of paid campaigns with objectives ranging from direct response to branding and awareness.
• Work closely with the clients to understand their business needs and create solutions tailored to them
• Bring a fresh perspective to improving processes and reducing wasted time.
• Partner with creative and strategy teams to ensure media plans are aligned with the larger business strategy and content requirements.
• Manage media strategists to foster a collaborative team, ensure individual growth, and effectively deliver on day to day requirements.

Requirements

• At least 7-12 years in a strategic role within a social media or advertising agency
• Experience in a leadership position, mentoring teams and developing talent
• New business experience
• Innate curiosity and entrepreneurial spirit
• Commitment to excellence—working nonstandard hours when necessary, anticipating issues and communicating with diplomacy, identifying emerging platforms and trends to drive innovation

Base salary range: $115-190k plus bonus potential.

Actual base salary is dependent on several factors including but not limited to; market dynamics, location and region, experience, specialized skills/training (education), level of responsibility, budgetary considerations, tenure at the company (for current employees), etc. The salary range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Compensation decisions are dependent on circumstances of each hire.
