Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking Associate and Mid-Level Procurement Agents to join the F-15 and F/A-18 Air Dominance International Supply Chain team in Hazelwood, MO. This team partners with critical suppliers and manages complex assemblies supporting both development and production. As part of the International Supply Chain team, you will build supplier relationships, gain exposure to diverse cultures, and contribute to solutions for both the F-15 and F/A-18 programs. Because this team supports multiple time zones and varying country customs, this role offers added flexibility in the work schedule.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Integrate program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies.
  • Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions.
  • Prepare and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
  • Conduct risk, issues and opportunities management.
  • Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.
  • Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies.
  • Knowledge of various methods of contracting (UCA, Letter Award, etc.)
  • Prepare and execute proprietary information agreements
  • Develop and support sourcing strategies
  • Develop and manage requests for proposals, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements.
  • Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ year of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or procurement practices and processes
  • 1+ years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • 1+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
  • 1+ years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
  • Potential to travel up to 10% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • Experience in US-Government, FAR-compliant proposals
  • Experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
  • Experience drafting, negotiating and executing contracts and subcontracts
  • More than 3 years of experience and/or training with the Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA), is preferred
  • More than 3 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer, is preferred
  • More than 3 years of experience working on U.S. Department of Defense contracts, is preferred

Summary pay range:

Associate (Level 2) $60,350 - $74,550

Mid-Level (Level 3) $74,800 - $92,400
