J.P. Morgan Asset Management Global Alternatives - Real Assets is the private equity real estate investment arm of J.P. Morgan Asset Management, with approximately $50.0 billion of real estate assets under management in the United States, Europe and Asia, the majority of which are direct equity real estate investments in office, retail, warehouse/industrial and residential properties through various funds and separate accounts.
Currently we are looking for a highly motivated person who would like to join our local real estate private equity acquisitions team in Frankfurt for an up to 6 months internship.
Your tasks:
Providing support for the investment team in:
- Supporting the initial screening of investment opportunities (single assets / portfolios with a focus on office, residential, logistics/ industrial)
- Cash-flow modelling & financial analysis
- Conducting asset/market specific research
- Compiling internal memoranda and presentations to support investment decisions
Your prerequisites are:
- Studies of Business Administration, Finance or similar preferred, but not required – applicants from all disciplines are welcome
- Strong knowledge in corporate finance and Excel (financial modelling)
- Previous experience in M&A, private equity or management consulting a plus
- Affinity to real estate a plus
- Fluency in German and English is essential
