Courier Driver/Warehouse Helper

Tribal Diagnostics is searching for a full-time Courier Driver/Warehouse Helper.  The hours are Monday through Friday from 8am - 5pm.  You will not be required to use your own vehicle.  

Job Summary:

As a Courier Driver at Tribal Diagnostics, you are a vital part of our logistics team, responsible for ensuring the safe and timely delivery of laboratory samples to designated locations. In addition, you will help with in the Warehouse as well.  Your responsibilities will include inventory control, ordering, shipping, and ensuring that essential supplies are readily available to support laboratory operations

Duties/Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles to deliver laboratory samples to designated locations promptly and safely.
• Adhere to traffic laws, safety guidelines, and delivery schedules.
• Follow predefined courier routes provided by the Transportation and Logistics Manager.
• Report any route-related challenges, delays, or deviations to the manager promptly.
• Handle laboratory samples with care, ensuring the integrity and security of each delivery.
• Follow specific guidelines for transporting sensitive materials.
• Maintain clear communication with the Transportation and Logistics Manager and other team members.
• Provide updates on delivery status and report any issues encountered during the route.
• Conduct routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the Transportation and Logistics Manager
• Successfully participates in and supports Tribal Diagnostics' compliance program and initiatives.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past three years.
• Previous experience in a courier or delivery role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to load and unload delivery items from the vehicle, which may involve lifting, carrying, and maneuvering packages of various sizes and weights.
• Comfortable driving for extended periods and familiarity with different vehicle types.
• Ability to adapt to changing weather conditions, traffic patterns, and delivery schedules.
• Physical endurance to handle the demands of the job, including sitting for extended periods, standing, and walking during deliveries.
