Description
The History Department in the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University invites applications for a Visiting Associate Professor for a two-year term beginning in the 2025-2026 academic year. The anticipated start date for this position is August 01, 2025.
This is a non-tenured, 9-month appointment with a 2/2 teaching load consisting primarily of undergraduate courses. The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain an active research program.
Qualifications
- Requires a PhD in History.
- Scholarly interests relevant to American history (broadly defined)
- Ability to support departmental teaching needs
