Job Overview Summary
We are seeking a skilled Sr Salesforce Administrator & Application Developer with hands-on experience to manage, enhance, and innovate our Salesforce environment. This role blends technical expertise with a strong understanding of business processes, ensuring our Salesforce platform is optimized to support strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in Salesforce administration, custom development, and integrating applications to deliver impactful solutions that drive business growth.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Salesforce Administration:
- Manage daily administration of Salesforce, including user setup, security settings, profiles, and roles.
- Maintain and optimize workflows, process builder flows, validation rules, and approval processes.
- Monitor system performance, manage data integrity, and oversee regular system audits.Configure and customize Salesforce to meet evolving business
- needs.
Application Development & Integration:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce and external systems via APIs, middleware, or native connectors.
- Create and maintain custom objects, fields, and page layouts to support business requirements.
- Develop and enhance Lightning Experience pages for improved user experience.
Support & Collaboration:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and implement solutions.
- Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support to maximize adoption and efficiency.
- Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and best practices, recommending and implementing improvements where applicable.
Location
This role is open to candidates working remoted in the United States.
Basic Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator and/or Developer
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce configuration, administration, and development
- Hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and SOQL
- Solid understanding of Salesforce security, sharing rules, and role hierarchy
- Solid understanding of data structures and reporting tools (Salesforce, Tableau, Snowflake, or similar)
- Experience with data management tools (Data Loader, Dataloader.io, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Enterprise IT experience preferred
- Salesforce Administrator Certification a plus
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification / Platform Developer II is a plus
- Familiarity with integration tools (Workato, MuleSoft, Zapier, Boomi, or similar)
- Experience working in fast paced environments preferred
- Track record of delivering with quality and on time
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities
