Schedule: M-F; 8a-5p

You’ll provide comprehensive primary care to an assigned patient population—partnering closely with a compassionate, multidisciplinary team to make a real difference every day. You will report to the Medical Director.

Job Summary:
Responsible for administering care to adult patients. Primary clinical responsibilities will include the evaluation, treatment, and management of patients. Requesting care for acute issues which may include also screening for all chronic diseases. The physician will also supervise mid-level providers (Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistants) involved in the care of adult patients.

Responsibilities

  • Initiate appropriate assessments of patient health status, from focused to comprehensive.
  • Identify immediate needs and determine support or referral for long-term management.
  • Perform physical examinations and document comprehensive health histories clearly.
  • Consult with colleagues, specialists, and other health professionals as appropriate.
  • Order pertinent diagnostic tests and procedures to support recommended therapy.
  • Obtain or support specimen collection for blood, urine, and stool analyses and cultures.
  • Interpret clinical information, establish diagnoses, and formulate timely treatment plans.
  • Provide patient education on acute conditions and opportunities for further evaluation and treatment.
