Summary

Barry University School of Nursing BSN Program is currently seeking applicants for part-time/Adjunct

clinical supervisor positions to teach undergraduate nursing students in a clinical setting.

Applicants must have current clinical expertise in one or more of the following nursing specialties:

Med Surg; Obstetrics; Pediatrics; Behavioral Health; High Acuity; Foundations, and Community.

Essential Functions:

• Responsibilities include supervision of a group of undergraduate nursing students (8-10) in a clinical setting.

• Collaboration with the Clinical Course Coordinator regarding lecture content required clinical documentation, course goals and outcomes, and skills set to be achieved.

• Midterm and final evaluation of student's progress in the clinical setting.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• MSN degree required.

• Active unencumbered Florida RN or APRN License

• Solid clinical background in one or more of the following clinical specialties: Med Surg; Obstetrics;

• Pediatrics; Behavioral Health; High Acuity; Foundations, and Community.

• Previous clinical teaching experience preferred.
