5th Grade Dual Language Teacher (bilingual)

Candidate must be student-centered with a growth mindset as Forest Glen uses a team-based approach to support our students and grow each other. Individual must be able to work collaboratively to increase equitable student opportunities and outcomes through standards-based instruction. Individual must encourage higher level, independent and creative thinking as well as problem solving. Teacher must build an inclusive classroom community and commit to culturally responsive practices, data analysis and excellent classroom management.  The Candidate must also have outstanding written and verbal communication skills for family/community interaction.

Qualifications/Job Description:

• Current Indiana State Teaching License
• Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education
• Individual must have excellent organizational and communication skills
• Collaborate with Professional Learning Community to analyze data to guide instructional decisions
• Remain current in the latest educational research
• Perform other related duties as assigned
