About the role

ROLE SUMMARY

Director, Access and Affordability Marketing is a critical role within the US Migraine Marketing Team,  leading the creation and execution of coverage and access strategies tailored to various audiences to ensure patients can obtain the therapies prescribed by their healthcare providers.

This role will work to optimize pull through and minimize access hurdles for HCPs and patients. Individual will also serve as the primary liaison to the FAL PAC teams in Primary Care to ensure timely communication and implications of access strategies and tactics.

The position requires strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, exceptional cross-functional collaboration, and detail-oriented execution within a highly competitive and evolving category. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:  

  • Develop messaging and promotional materials to communicate access and affordability to healthcare providers, patients, and health systems.
  • Lead the development of patient messaging and resources to effectively support patients through access and affordability challenges.
  • Co-lead the development and execution of cost and coverage messaging, partnering with US Market Access, Sales Leadership, Brand, and Patient Solutions to identify access opportunities.
  • Oversee KPI and measurement tracking for access initiatives, collaborating with USMA and cross-functional colleagues to refine strategies and tactics.
  • Serve as the primary contact for payer data with external vendors for the Migraine franchise.
  • Act as the main liaison with Field Access Leads and Patient Access Coordinators to support FAL and PAC strategies and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with GAV and USMA to develop and execute evidence priorities that strengthen the payer value story.
  • Ensure all materials and tools are approved and implemented through the RC process.
  • Understand and anticipate the implications of changing market access dynamics and account for any impacts to access and affordability program messaging
  • Lead Access FIT calls with Field Force and Field Access Leads, fostering communication and integrating feedback into resource development.
  • Partner with GCET to inform payer training materials for all relevant field teams.
  • Address payer access issues as they arise from the field force, and find solutions, whether customized or scalable.
  • Ensure appropriate communication, integration and collaboration across Payer, Consumer and HCP strategy and tactical plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 8+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • 3+ years experience with demonstrated strategic abilities in brand marketing, second line sales Leadership, or Market Access experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer needs, extract key insights, and translate these into meaningful strategies, programs and in market results
  • Must be familiar with the market access landscape and maximizing opportunity of the Payer landscape to meet brand and organizational objectives for access, profitability and brand share performance.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with RC (MLR) process, and previous experience working with agencies on creation of materials required.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical skills.
  • Strong project management skills, setting and executing against deadlines and delivering on commitments.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to mobilize key stakeholders and engage senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated success in maintaining productive/collaborative relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Proven track record of operating in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Enthusiasm and self-motivation are essential.
  • Undergraduate degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership capabilities including demonstrated leadership of cross functional matrix teams: Influences without formal authority, understands role/ position in the wider context; builds and maintains strong relationships of trust; experience working in large organization across multiple functional partner lines

  

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

Travel is up to 25% for internal meetings as well as attending conferences.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $156,600.00 to $261,000.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 20.0% of the base salar
