Senior .NET developer

Job Purpose

We are looking for a Senior .NET Engineer who can punch out some mean code as well as elevate the team with wisdom and knowledge. You will be given a central role in one of our teams who work on our high-tech back-ends or our new product for the pharma industry. Together with leadership you will, amongst other things, review your team’s output, suggest and implement quality control measures, mentor your juniors and help the team lead bring the team’s endeavours to a success.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• You’ll start with straight up development and design while you get familiar with your new working environment. From the beginning you’ll be involved in the heavier decision making amongst your team, and any architectural questions that come up
• You’ll co-design API’s with other teams regularly. As soon as you’re able, you’ll be given review tasks, time to mentor your juniors, and asked to participate in software architecture
• We expect that you’ll contribute your ideas on quality control, roadmap, development processes, and so on

 

Skills & Experience

• Are fluent in .NET but enjoy a challenge that involves languages, frameworks, techniques and concerns that you may not have dealt with before
• Have no problem putting their team mates first, helping them thrive and share the credit
• Dead set on high-performance, high-quality standards and the staying power to execute them with the team
• Good communicator and can talk to colleagues from different backgrounds and with varying levels of seniority
• Have experience with content management systems, high-performance applications, and cloud are a bonus
• Can present their ideas to a wider group of decision makers, focussing not only on the hottest tech but smart business and healthy team goals as well
• Willing to collaborate with third parties directly, or even educate them when it comes to Fonto’s niche
• Happy to converse in English
